In the name of Allah.

[Continued from here]

And Allah will make you honorable and will grant you glory. And he will honor you in this country and it will not be surprising that Allah will also grant you the opportunity to make arrangements in this country.

Because these reigns, power and authority are given as charity as a result of the efforts put forth in the path of Allah.

All these are like the dust of the feet set forth in the path of Allah.

See! The slaves of Allah [referring to the Companions (ra) of the Last Prophet (saws)] had put in some efforts in Badr and Uhud, in the fields of Badr, Uhud and in the fields of Tabligh, some slaves of Allah had put in efforts – What were the results of these efforts?

The results of these efforts were: In their successors was born a person named Haroon Al Rasheed, you may have heard of his name before, he is a very famous Caliph.

I’ll tell you about the condition of his kingdom:

He was sitting once in Baghdad when a lonely rain cloud passed over his head, he looked up and seeing the rain cloud was going somewhere, he said “Go where you want to, either to the east or to the west, and rain down where you want to, the result of your rains, the grains and cereals that your rain will give birth to – will come and fall at my feet

[Here, Ali Miyan (rh) here recites the exact Arabic words spoken by Haroon Al Rasheed (rh)] – These were the exact words spoken by the Caliph.

Such big words – “Go wherever you want to and rain down where ever you want, I won’t tell you to rain down only in Baghdad, go wherever you want to and rain down, but the foodgrain that your rains gives birth to will only come here.”

All this is but a small miniscule and very very negligible reward for putting efforts in the path of Allah, these are not even REAL rewards, the true rewards for all of this will only be seen in the hereafter.

Yet, as a form of charity, like for example: People work in the fields to grow wheat, but while doing so, even some grass also grows along, this grass will come in handy to feed the animals, in the same way, all these grass…I won’t tell you in detail but all these reigns of the Banu Umayyah, the Abbasid Caliphates and their conquests and their fame across the world, all these was the grass of those fields [Badr, Uhud, Tabligh].

In this world, nobody works in the fields to grow grass, yet if this grass grows, its put to use for other purposes.

In the same way, these people had put in the efforts for the guidance of the people, and yet, like grass, these dynasties, these reigns came up – this is the status of these kingdoms, reigns and power.
My Friends! If you put in the efforts in this country – such that from every masjid you would listen and from every mouth, from every Scholar’s speech you would listen, that in this hour, tabligh is the effort you need to do.

If I had the power…if I had the power, I’m telling you the truth, I’m not talking big here, if I had the power, not just for some months, but for like 2 to 4 years I’d lock up all the shops, establishments, I’d SEAL them all, and I’d put a stop to all activity in industries, factories, and I’d take out all the men from their houses and tell them that the only work that you got to do now is to leave your homes and spread out for the work of guidance, for the work of tabligh in your country, Burma.

…to be continued.
