As salaamu alaii kumm wa rahmatullahi wa barakath,
Haji Abdul Wahab Saheb (damath baraka tuhum) – for those who don’t him yet, he is currently ranked as the tenth most influential Muslim in the world, yet, the post is not about him but rather his message to the Muslims across world, the leader of the Pakistan chapter of the Islamic renaissance and revivalist movement and perhaps the last surviving student and companion of Hadhrathji Maulana Ilyas (rahimahullah) was recently hospitalized due to illness due to which he even lost his voice, but Alhamdulillah, after regaining consciousness (and his voice), these were the first words that he spoke which were duly written down by one of his doctors.
The message is in Urdu and the English translation follows below the image.
26. JAN. 2015
From the intensive care unit of Doctor hospital.
After regaining his voice, these are the first words that he said:
Convey my salaams to the people and then pass on my message:
- We shouldn’t have hope in anyone except Allah ta’ala.
- We didn’t work for the guidance (hidayah) of the whole world at all – we need to repent, seek forgiveness for this.
- Keep reciting ‘La hawla wa la Quwwata illah Billah’
- Pray to Allah ta’ala that He takes the work (of Deen) from us according to His will.

“Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events. It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” ~ Robert F.
